Mandatory guarantee plan and private guarantee plans

The Mandatory Guarantee Plan

As provided for in the Regulation respecting the guarantee plan, it is applicable to the following types of residences:

  • detached single-family homes
  • semi-detached or row houses
  • multi-family buildings with 2 to 5 dwellings (duplex, triplex, intergenerational house)
  • divided co-ownerships with four or less overlapping private portions
